MEET ELIZABETH
Elizabeth Wilson is a mom, small business owner, and long-time Marion resident running for the Iowa House of Representatives to make sure every kid in Iowa gets the opportunity to grow with the same resources she did.
Growing up on welfare, Elizabeth is now the founder and President of her own business. She attributes the social safety net that she had as a child to her success and is fighting to make sure every Iowan has the same. Elizabeth currently serves as the founder and President of Wilson Business Services which provides financial services primarily to small businesses around financial planning. She is a graduate of Cornell College and received a MBA from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business. She previously served on the Linn-Mar School board.
In addition, Elizabeth serves as Treasurer for Families Helping Families of Iowa which is designed to help and support children in foster care. She also serves as the Treasurer of Systems Unlimited which provides services to people living with disabilities and mental health needs in eastern Iowa. She has lived in Marion for the past fourteen years and is the proud mother to two children.

Education
Education is one of the most important things that we fund as a state legislature. Public dollars belong in public schools and we need to be increasing resources for our students and teachers.
Healthcare
Every Iowan deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare and we need to work in the state legislature to pass funding that increases accessibility. Healthcare and mental health services are not only critical for individuals, but for our communities as a whole.
Infrastructure
As Iowa grows and expands, we need be updating our aging infrastructure to meet the demands of modern life. We need have roads, bridges, housing, and transportation that meet the needs of Iowans today..
Reproductive Rights
Everyone deserves the right to make their own health care decisions. We must protect Iowans' access to reproductive health care, including birth control, abortion, and IVF.
